Hello again!

It’s been a long time since I’ve written here and I need to make it a practice again. I’ve been very busy with this practice and working for Downey & Lenkov downtown practicing workers’ compensation defense. I have really enjoyed the change of pace that the firm provides. I worked for the firm before I started my practice, so it feels a bit like coming home, too, as many of the lawyers I previously practiced with are still there.

On the Fearless side, I have been so busy this year, especially with estate planning. I did a seminar at McHenry Public Library on estate planning and had about 45 people there, which was really surprising. I really enjoyed doing it, and would like to do more of those events. I think people think estate planning is complicated and trusts are only for rich people, but that’s not the case at all, and I enjoyed being able to explain it in terms that everyone could understand.

The real estate market continues to be rough. Rates are down but still not great and inventory is scant.
